Excavations at Arslantepe Mound, begun in 1932 by Louis Delaporte, are currently underway by Sapienza University of Rome and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey under the direction of Prof. Dr. Francesca Balossi Restelli. We thank Prof. Marcella Frangipane and Dr. Francesca Balossi Restelli, who have made significant contributions to the discovery of artifacts such as the palace complex, early administrative systems, and the world's oldest known metal swords, for their valuable academic support of our site research. We emphasize that their scientific work on Arslantepe has significantly contributed to our understanding of the region's cultural heritage.
